After a break of almost two years, Thursday saw the return of competitive schools football. Harton played a game against Laygate and we won 1 – 0 thanks to a goal by Jack. All of the children were excellent and can be proud of their performances.
The children of Year 5 welcomed our first sports visitors in over a year to school yesterday. They taught the children several basketball skills, the importance of drinking water and a healthy lifestyle.
We had our first sports visitor of the year last week when Michael from Durham C.C. came in to work with children in Years 1-4. All the children had a fantastic time learning new skills.
We have had a lovely afternoon with the All Star Cricket taster. Check out our skills in the photos. It was lots of fun. We will be bringing home a flyer about their cricket club at some point over the next week.

Their donations have enabled us to give a Wellbeing Bag, complete with a range of resources to support wellbeing, to all of our pupils.
There’s something for everyone inside. Welcome back!
