We have our first Word Millionaire of the academic year 2024-2025.
Congratulations to Esme in Year 6, our very first Millionaire this year. This is an excellent achievement at any point of the year, but to have read over 1,000,000 words in a term is outstanding!
Well done to Oliver and Jayden in Year 6 also for becoming Half Millionaires . The boys have read so much this half term and we know they will be Word Millionaires in no time!

Thank you to everyone who attended our book fair recently.
It was wonderful to see the children so enthused about new books.
Thanks to the fantastic turnout, we have raised £370.08 to buy more books for school to support the children and their love of reading.
We look forward to hosting another book fair in April.
A huge congratulations to Esme in Year 6.
Esme is the first Accelerated Reader award winner of the year, having read over 500,000 words already since returning to school in September! As she has achieved this in only 6 weeks, Esme is setting herself the challenge of becoming our first Word Millionaire before Christmas.

Congratulations to all of our pupils who were chosen as the Reader of the month for September. What a fantatsic way to start a new year! These children have impressed their teachers with amazing efforts in class, returning reading books regularly and challenging themselves.

Thomas P- Year 3, for scoring 100% in his AR quiz indepedently.

Congratualtions to all the readers of the month for June. This month the children have been chosen for setting a good example to others with their reading. This includes returning home readers regularly, making super progress, challenging themselves to read more tricky texts and having a super attitude in school.
