Literacy

Recap the story of Room on the Broom. Use the video link below if you wish:

Using the words: bat, hat, cat, mat Say each of the words out loud, encourage the children to repeat them after you several times. Sound them out b a t, encouraging children to copy. Can you write the words together?

Numeracy

Think about some of the shapes you know – circle, triangle, square, rectangle.

We would like you to draw a picture that has some of these shapes in it. Take a photo and send it to us.

Topic

Draw your own pumpkin. Add eyes, nose and mouth to your picture. Who can make the silliest pumpkin, you or your grown up?
