Hope you are all well. Your learning tasks for today are:
English – Task 8 – To write a story (part 1)
Today you are going to write the beginning of your story by introducing the character and where they go. Remember to include as much detail as possible by using adjectives and commas. If you want to add more information or make your sentence bigger, remember to use a conjunction.
Here are some sentence starters to help you or you can use your own.

You can also look at your story vocabulary sheet in your booklet to help you.
Phonics and reading
Today we would like you to look at the sound ‘i-e’.
Have a look at this video to support learning.
Challenge the children to spell and write the words using the correct sounds. You may wish to write some of the words down and ask the children to read them aloud.
