As yesterday was “Star Wars Day” (May the Fourth be with you), our daily challenge was to do something Star Wars related. We had some fantastic ideas and photos!
To keep our spirits high and our bodies moving….here is a 30 day music challenge for everyone.
Try and find a song that matches the description for each day and dance along to it.
This is just for fun (no need to write them down) and don’t worry if you can’t find a song for every day.

| This week we will have a History focus leading up to a very special celebration on Friday. Britain will be commemorating the 75th anniversary of VE Day when the guns fell silent at the end of war in Europe. You could undertake some research to find all about VE day and creative to present what learn. Maybe you could draw a significant event. You may want to create an information booklet or a poster!

As part of one of our daily challenges, the children were asked to create a virtual card for Captain Tom’s 100th birthday. Captain Tom Moore is a former British Army Ofiicer who has walked 100 lengths of his garden to raise money for NHS charities. He has raised over £31 million which I am sure you will agree, is absolutely fantastic!

Professor Carenza Lewis has launched an online Dig School. The programme offers free workshops for children aged 10 and over. The workshops are focused on archaeology and learning about the past. They will give children the opportunity to take part in activities and talks to help develop their understanding of the past in a new and exciting way.

The children have been showing their artistic talents with this challenge and drawing wonderful self-portraits.
For the Daily Challenge, the children were tasked to build the tallest tower.
