We are all enjoying our daily exercise whilst being at home so this challenge was to find a new way to exercise. We have been doing anything from painting a fence to horse riding. It is clear that our children know how to have fun whilst keeping fit.
Today our KS2 children painted a starry night and a sunset picture. They worked really hard on them- I think they did a great job!
Our latest daily challenge was to create a masterpiece using nature as part of the picture. The children could also use any media of their choice to complete the picture e.g. pens, pencils, chalk. The children at Harton Primary School are very creative!
Since the theme of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is kindness, we asked the children to ‘fill someone’s bucket’. This was inspired by the wonderful book by Carol McCloud. The children found different ways to show their love and appreciation for family, friends and teachers. We hope it fills your bucket when you look at the pictures and messages.
Our daily challenge was to photograph the nature around us. This could be in the garden or out on a walk. It is fantastic to see the varied photos and proof that the nature surrounding us is beautiful!
Our children were challenged to write a little message to someone that they are missing during this difficult time. I am sure you will agree that they have been extremely thoughtful when writing their notes.

Our daily challenge was to go out on our bike or scooter either in the garden or for an exercise outing. It was great to see how many children are keeping fit!
Our challenge today was to help a grown up with a household chore. The children have worked extremely hard and it is great to see how helpful our children are.
