Over the past week Y3 were set a project for their home learning afternoon task! After starting our DT project in school Y3 took home their designs and were challenged to make a Roundhouse from anything they could find around the house! Take a look at our amazing models.
Year 3 have been super stars using Times Table Rock Stars to practise their tables while learning at home. Why not start learning your 4 times tables? We love practising them in lots of fun ways so watch the video below to learn a song to help you remember.
It was lovely to see so many of Y3 today for our Google Classroom Meet!
We enjoyed a Kahoot Halloween Quiz together and then our teacher read us ‘The Sound Collector Poem’ and we thought about some onomatopoeia words that we could link with Halloween! We came up with lots together to prepare us for planning and writing our own Spooky Halloween Sound Collector Poem tomorrow.
We then enjoyed having time to share our crafts and what we have been up to over the past week – Miss Devlin was very impressed that we all showed respect for each other by putting our hands up to have our turn to speak and using our thumbs up to let Miss Devlin know we understood her.

Friday saw an amazing collection of toiletries, canned and dried foods being brought into school for The South Tyneside Food Bank. Our last Canny Friday is this week (23rd October). We can’t wait to see how many donations we manage to raise for such a worthy cause.
