Task 5 – To write a character description
Today’s activity is to write a character description of Gaspar. Use the picture in your pack and discuss these questions with your grown up:
- What three words best describe him?
- What does he enjoy?
- What does he look like?
- What does he dislike?
- Is he good/bad?
Next, answer these questions in full sentences to help your character description. You can also add in your own information if you like! Remember to use exciting adjectives and commas in a list.

Today we would like you to look at the ‘e-e’ sound. Take a look at the video link to support you:
Challenge the children to spell and write the words using the correct sounds. You may wish to write some of the words down and ask the children to read them aloud.
