In the packs that went home last week you were given a copy of the story Billy and The Dragon. Please complete task 1 today – read this story with your child and ask them questions as you go. More details can be found in the task list which you also received. You can also access this story online by downloading the PowerPoint (on the school website)

Maths
Today’s Maths activity sheet is to ‘count objects’ (find in your pack). Remember to count one object at a time and if counting objects at home, children should be encouraged to place objects in a line to improve accuracy. Try to remember to form your numbers correctly.

Science
In Science we have been learning about the seasons and thinking about Nocturnal animals. Last week we learned about Hedgehogs and for today’s task we would like the children to write some interesting facts about Hedgehogs.
You might think about:
- Where they live (habitat)
- Diet
- Why do hedgehogs have spikes?
- Dangers to hedgehogs
