For today’s activity we would like children to write a description of the setting in the picture below. They should try to write 3 sentences and think carefully about what they can see.

Phonics and Reading

Today we would like you to revisit the sound ‘qu’. Use the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2mcW0TVK5E to remind children of the sound. Challenge the children to spell words with the qu sound in. For example qu-i-t, qu-i-z etc.

Write a sentence about each of your senses.
