The children tried hard to complete the teapot challenge yesterday and I think they were better than the teachers that gave it a go too.
Well done to Daniel Allen (Y6D) who has become a Word Millionaire on Accelerated Reader during school closures.
When asked about his success, Daniel said “Accelerated Reader, I think is one of the greatest reading apps as it not only allows you to read new books you may never have chosen before, but it rewards you – like giving you points and unlocking achievements. I am really proud of becoming a Word Millionaire. I’m sure everyone can achieve that milestone“.
Congratulations Daniel. This is a fantastic achievement and shows a huge commitment to his progress as well as a love for reading.

What a lovely day for our egg and spoon race challenge. It looks like the children had lots of fun!
We were delighted to see children from across the school take part in our Easter/Spring themed scavenger hunt as part of the daily challenged.
Today, we have been busy completing our space themed craft. They have definitely shown how creative they are with these amazing creations!
Every fortnight, we celebrate our Times Table Rockstar Champions. This is the class who have achieved the highest percentage of accurate answers over the last 2 weeks while playing on Times Table Rockstars. The certificate is usually awarded in assembly and displayed on our classroom doors. Unfortunately we can’t do this at the moment, however we know everyone would love to know that the current champions are…
Congratulations Y5J!
We also celebrate the pupil who has improved the most over the 2 weeks. The individual Rockstar Champion is in Y4C. Well Done!
Keep up all your hard work. Who will be the next Times Table Rockstar Champions?
Times Tables Rockstars app and NumBots app are available to download on all android and Apple devices.
