As part of one of our daily challenges, the children were asked to create a virtual card for Captain Tom’s 100th birthday. Captain Tom Moore is a former British Army Ofiicer who has walked 100 lengths of his garden to raise money for NHS charities. He has raised over £31 million which I am sure you will agree, is absolutely fantastic!

Professor Carenza Lewis has launched an online Dig School. The programme offers free workshops for children aged 10 and over. The workshops are focused on archaeology and learning about the past. They will give children the opportunity to take part in activities and talks to help develop their understanding of the past in a new and exciting way.
