We have had some more photos of our lovely thank you cards being gratefully received by our wonderful key workers. We are extremely thankful to everyone working tirelessly at the moment to keep us all safe.
Year 3 have been learning all about Light in school and at home. They know that we need light to see and they investigated which materials are reflective so that they could design a school bag with reflective strips. The sun is dangerous so the children have created posters to let people know how they can protect our eyes. We have also been investigating shadows and how shadows change.
Today’s daily challenge was to create your own workout. We loved seeing everyone taking part in exercise at home. Can you complete any of the workout routines?
Today, we were asked to play a board game or complete a puzzle. They look like they had lots of fun!

The children have been invited to take part in competition to design the T-shirt that will be worn by competitiors in the Junior Great North Run this year. I have asked for a teacher in your childs year group to send you a Marvellous Me that contains a PDF with all the details. To enter please take a photo of your childs design and email it to the appropriate year group. Good luck.
The children have been extremely thoughtful for this challenge, writing messages, poems and pictures for people who they think are doing a great job at the moment. Well done everyone!

Our challenge today was to make a snack or meal with a grown up. The children have worked very hard (and carefully) to make some delicious looking food!
