Year 2 had a fantastic sports day! We are so impressed by how well-behaved the children were and how hard they tried in all the races.
A huge, belated thank you to the children and parents of Year 2 for a lovely Fairytale Party. The children showcased their fantastic writing, did another lovely green screen and enjoyed some tasty treats. After their hard work during the Secret Agent Tests, they definitely deserved them!
A huge congratulations to Grace Scott in Y2A. She received a highly commended status from the judges for her leader award submission. She placed in the top 30 out of 5,000 submissions! WELL DONE!
Our Elmer has arrived in school and it is ready to be painted with our school design. WATCH THIS SPACE!
Some super skipping skills going on in Year 2 this half term. We have been learning a range of skipping skills!
A super well done to Y2S who won Toffee not only the week before the Easter holidays but also the week after!

Year 2 and 3 are having a lot of fun using the new signage in the yard to learn and play some skipping games.
Thank you to all of our parents/guardians for the contributions during our Elmer Project Day. We raised over £400 for St. Oswalds Hospice.
We are so excited for Elmer’s Great North Parade and cannot wait to see our Harton Primary School elephant on the trail. During our project day the children put forward their own design ideas and they were amazing. We cannot wait to share them with you.

This morning year 2 had a lovely visit from the storyteller. She told us the story of Easter and why we celebrate .
The children asked some fantastic questions and shared their own ideas.
