This week we will be working on poetry. Today, we are going to write our own poems based on the foods we like.
Today we will compare numbers. You will need ‘sheet 3’ which is in your pack (most were delivered yesterday – don’t worry if you haven’t got yours yet; it will be with you soon! If you feel up to a challenge, try our extension task too.
This week we are thinking about the ways we are all different and what makes us special. See google classroom for our power point and activity.

Read Write Inc. Phonics will be hosting lessons on YouTube for children to watch at home. Each daily lesson will be shown at 9.30 am and will be available for 24 hours. We will therefore post these links separately shortly after 9.30am.
Today’s sound will be the ‘ee’ sound.

Have a look at our video. Using sheet 2, highlight where the capital letters and full stops should be. Now have a go at rewriting in your neatest handwriting. There is also a challenge if you would like to have a go.

Good morning everyone, hope you’re all well. Below are the phonics links for today. Today’s sound is the ‘ay’ sound which we have covered earlier last week – with this in mind please only look at this if you feel your child would benefit from extra practise.

We have been finding out lots about Toys from the past. Today we would like you to draw your grown-up’s favourite toy. Now look at some of the interesting artefacts of toys and decide what they could be.
