Phonics and Reading
Read Write Inc. Phonics will be hosting lessons on YouTube for children to watch at home. Each daily lesson will be shown at 9.30 am and will be available for 24 hours. We will therefore post these links separately shortly after 9.30am.
Today’s sound will be the ‘ay’ sound – ‘May I play?’
Literacy
Today we will be using some of the important characters to help us with our writing. Queen Aneata, Captain Capital Letter, Captain Finger Space and Captain Full Stop. Look through our powerpoint to help with today’s activity.
Maths
Remember, if printing the worksheets is problematic, please try to record answers wherever you can, thank you.
Today we are going to be partitioning tens and ones using our part whole model.

History
We have been finding out lots about Toys from the past. Today we would like you to draw your grown-up’s favourite toy. Now look at some of the interesting artefacts of toys and decide what they could be.
