As part of our ‘People who help us’ topic, we had a visit from our local Police Community Support Officers. They told us about how they keep us safe and how we can ring the police if there is an emergency. They also told us about their uniform and the equipment they use.
This week we have been taking part in the Big Schools’ Birdwatch. The children looked for birds in our Nursery garden and recorded them on ten frames.
Today our Nursery children have been spreading some Christmas cheer!
We have made some Christmas cards for our local elderly residents. The children worked very hard to colour the cards and write their names inside. The cards will be delivered to Cheviot Court Care Home.
This week we have been reading the story ‘The Gingerbread Man’. We used puppets to retell the story and made our own Gingerbread men. They were delicious!
