As part of our ‘under the sea’ topic, we are learning about pollution in our oceans. Today we took part in our own litter pick around the Nursery grounds. We then sorted the litter into different categories, recyclable and non recyclable.
Today we celebrated the end of our minibeast topic by having our own Ugly Bug Ball. We ate slimy worm sandwiches and drank beetle juice. We also released our butterflies because it was a warm and sunny day.

Today we celebrated the coronation of King Charles. Across the school the children have been finding out about King Charles and the history of coronations. We came to school dressed in red, white and blue then had our own coronation party!
Today we celebrated the coronation of King Charles III. We took part in different coronation activities, found out facts about our new King and made our own crowns. Everyone wore red, white and blue and the best part was our celebration party!
This morning we have had a special delivery. We will be adding all ten of these creatures to our Creepy Crawly Corner. What do you think these hairy creatures could be?

Rob from Zoo Lab came to Nursery and he brought some special visitors with him. He told us lots of facts about them and we got to hold every one. Look how brave we were! Which one is your favourite?
In Nursery, we enjoy using the iPads and computers to learn. Our favourite programmes are Sherston and 2 Simple Simple City. We are experts at using our fingers to operate the technology.
