Today we celebrated Pancake Day in Nursery. We helped to measure the ingredients and mix the batter. After Mrs Thompson cooked them, we added our favourite toppings and ate them all up. They were delicious!

Reception have enjoyed exploring the new outdoor equipment this week and we even created our own obstacle course! To manoeuvre our way around the obstacle course, we have been using a range of movements such as hopping, jumping, rolling and climbing. It has been so much fun!
Today our Nursery children have been spreading some Christmas cheer!
We have made some Christmas cards for our local elderly residents. The children worked very hard to colour the cards and write their names inside. The cards will be delivered to Cheviot Court Care Home.
This week we have enjoyed exploring our new bikes and worked together to use them!

Reception enjoyed taking part in the annual charity event ‘Children in Need’. We all entered school wearing non-uniform and donated money to help change the lives of children and young people all over the country. We discussed all of the reasons why we were raising money. Also, we took part in lots of fun Pudsey activities and had our own yummy Pudsey biscuit- it was so much fun!
On Monday, we wore our odd socks to Nursery for Anti-bullying Week. We designed our own odd socks. Well done to our competition winners!

In Nursery this week, we have been celebrating ‘Black History Week’. We talked about some influential people including Rosa Parks, Nelson Mandela, Maya Angelou and Stormzy. We read the story ‘Odd Dog Out’ and talked about how we are different and special.
