Today in English you will be writing sentences using powerful verbs and adverbs. You will be focusing on verbs and adverbs to describe Grendel’s movements.
There is a video of Miss Devlin and Miss Samuels talking through your work for today on your Google Classroom. You will need a pencil and a sheet of paper to write down any examples of powerful verbs you hear in the story.
Here are some ideas to help you write your amazing sentences:
1. How Grendel rises from his swamp.
2. How Grendel makes his way to Hereot Hall.
3. How Grendel fights Beowulf.
4. How he picks up the men.

The National Aquarium
Dive into ‘Deep Science’ from 1:00pm-1:20pm. This will take place every Friday with live YouTube sessions. You will get to meet some of our amazing animals as well as stopping at the AquaLab! The key theme for this week is going to be underwater volcanoes! Enjoy 🙂

For your PE lesson today you can choose an activity from our PE file on your Google Classroom.
Inside this file is lots of different activities to choose from. You may want to get moving with Joe Wicks or Just Dance (link below Miss Devlin’s favourite!) or perhaps you feel like doing a GoNoodle to get you in that Friday feeling!
Always make sure you’ve got some water nearby to keep you hydrated – Enjoy Year 3!
