Good Morning Y3! We are nearly there! Only today and tomorrow until we have reached half term!

Today we are focusing on bar charts again and you will be using your skills to interpret them.

Starter: True or False? 30 fewer children attend after schools clubs on a Tuesday than a Wednesday.

Video: Watch today’s video and keep pausing to answer the questions you are set and don’t forget to jot your answers down.

Worksheet: Work your way through the activities interpreting different bar charts – remember to look at each chart and question carefully.

This week we have been writing our very own myth, so far you have written your opening and your problem. Today we will be writing our resolution to our stories. Watch the video lesson on your Google Classroom where Miss Whitehead will explain your task in detail.

Your Task- Write the your resolution.
-A hero arrives
-The hero faces the problem (This is your battle between your hero and the monster).
-Who won the battle?

Can you include:
-Speech
-Show not tell features
-Sentence openers
-Lots of powerful verbs during the battle!

Remember you are not finishing your story today, you are only writing the resolution. We will write the ending tomorrow. Don’t forget to do your very best handwriting- Good luck! 🙂
