English:
Today, you are going to describe a character with a twist. We have been looking at traditional tales in school and have written character descriptions for good and bad characters as part of our story retell.
In your writing, try and use use expanded noun phrases to describe a character.
Think about their personality, how is it different to what the original book suggests? What about their appearance, is it the same?
You could also try and use commas in a list to use a range of adjectives to make your work really interesting.
Maths:
In today’s maths lesson you will be continuing with the time topic and looking at hours and days. This session will be taught live on Google Classroom at 9:30.
Science:
Today we are going to look at the results of our investigation. Two weeks ago, we planted some cress seeds to see what conditions that plants need to grow. We placed some in the sunlight and gave them water, we placed others in sunlight but did not water them. Some plants were placed in a cupboard away from sunlight and we gave some of them water and not to others. This week we are going to look at our results and write a conclusion. There are photos of the cress for you to look at. When you have closely observed and compared the different pot, write a few sentences to tell explain what you have found out and whether your prediction was correct or not.
