Y3 visited St Lawrence’s church to partake in various activities to learn about Advent. We made the angel Gabriel, wrote Christmas wishes on golden stars, made sheep finger puppets, moulded a pipe cleaner person to stand over baby Jesus in the stable, and thought about precious gifts of Christmas we could give for free. We came up with beautiful gifts such as a smile, a cuddle, kind words and visiting church to sing carols. We also thought about the difficulties we can face and how we can help each other overcome them by showing kindness at Christmas time.
