Hello year 2,

This term you are going to be learning all about The Great Fire of London. Today in English we are going to be finding out answers to the questions that we wrote yesterday using the Internet and PowerPoint to research the Great Fire of London. I have included links to some useful websites too.

Today we are finding a third in maths. Your worksheet is in your learning pack and you will need a pencil and rubber to complete it. Remember to go through the teaching slides first to help you.

Today’s spellings is looking at the suffixes we have already done. Make the ‘Fortune Teller’ by following the instructions and then see if you can test yourself to spell words using the correct suffixes.

This half term, our topic will be ‘Where food comes from’. Today, we will be looking at the pros and cons for buying food locally and from abroad. Your job is to make a table in your books and discuss the pros and cons of both. Watch the video and use the slides to support your learning.

This half term we will be looking at the Easter story. Today you will listen to the Easter story and then answer some comprehension questions about Easter and the Easter story.
