In Year 1, our Autumn Walk to Cleadon Park linked our Seasons Science topic with Our Local Area Geography topic. We have been learning a lot about the park environment through reading Percy the Park Keeper by Nick Butterworth, and searching for signs of autumn ourselves. Back at school, we were inspired by the colours, patterns, textures and objects associated with autumn, to create some amazing artwork and learning some new skills in the process.
