Good morning Reception!

Phonics

Today we would like you to practise the sounds you have learned. We would like you to watch the video and practise spelling words with the ‘ay’ sound.  You will find the video on Google Classroom.

We would love to see the words you have been writing!

Literacy

Today we like you to write instructions ‘How to make pancakes’.  We have included a template on google classroom if you require an idea.

*Top Tip – remember to sound out loud and write the sounds you hear.  Use your ‘Read Write Inc’ sheet to help you form your letters correctly. Don’t forget to use ‘Sentence Super Heroes’ when writing your instructions.

Maths

Today we will be ordering numbers to 10. We would like you to complete the White Rose, Representing and Sorting numbers 9 and 10, session 4 activity. The video and resources can be found at:

Topic

Today we would like you to do some junk modelling. Your task today is to create a character from the story ‘Mr Wolf’s Pancakes’ using materials around the house (e.g cardboard boxes and plastic pots).
