Dear Parent/Guardian,
I have enclosed the official letter from Public Health England following our recently confirmed cases. This letter will explain the arrangements for our Year 5 pupils and how to access Free School Meals (if eligible) and work during the isolation period.
From Monday, Year 5 staff will be in daily contact with you to set tasks and challenges for the children.
All year 5 staff will be available every day via the email: [email protected] . Suggested links to daily tasks can be sent via email, if you email us asking for them.
We will send a Marvellous Me every day, from Monday, with daily tasks.
– Daily challenge
– Joe Wicks workout
– Literacy task
– Maths task
There will also be a daily website post in the ‘Year 5’ section of the website with this information.
Year 5 staff will send a Marvellous Me with individual login details for Accelerated Reader, Mathletics and TimesTable Rockstars.
Those pupils who are eligible for free school meals are entitled to a packed lunch. The packed lunch must be ordered by 10am Monday 21st September, this will be an order for the 8 days that school is closed to Year 5 pupils. Packed lunches can be collected from a trolley in the front entrance from 11:30am daily. In line with guidance, pupils who are isolating must NOT attend the school site to collect the packed lunch.
Please stay safe everyone.
Yours faithfully,
Karen Ratcliffe
Head Teacher
