This week was our final week of History club. We looked at Christmas in the past and made our own Victorian cornucopias.
The children have used their new skills in vector drawing to create their 2022 calendars. The used 2 different sides of their image to show 2 different times of the year through use of shapes to draw their images.

This week we have been looking at the Ancient Egyptians. We talked about Howard Carter and his amazing discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb. We then turned each other into mummies and then used clay to make scarab beetles.
In our second lesson of computing on vector drawing (computer drawings using shapes), the children had to create pictures of animals. Here are some examples of the children’s work:
Once again, our children are fantastic! Here are our extremely successful results from the latest national Times Tables Rock Stars competition “England Rocks 2021”.
Harton Primary School is the 48th highest scoring school in England, out of 4,000+ schools!
Y4C is the 196th highest scoring class, out of 30,000+ classes!
