ASDA came to Year 3 to help us research different food that is harvested in Britain at different times of the year. We learned how food gets from the farm to our shop and were able to taste a variety of British farmed food. Afterwards, we discussed how we could use these ingredients in our cooking.
Year 3 have loved creating a Snow White themed apple sculpture.
Year 3 were looking at instructions last week and were tasked to research different recipes that we could follow using the vegetables we received from ASDA. We worked in groups to ensure we had the correct ingredients for the chosen recipe and we had to follow the instructions in chronological order. The soup was delicious and we even had some apple for dessert!
