Toffee, our attendance bear, joined us in the allotment today. We took advantage of the beautiful weather to replant some of our lettuce seeds into bigger pots. We can’t wait to see them grow!

On Friday, Y1M were so excited to finally celebrate 10 weeks of excellent attendance (97% or above). We earned a full afternoon treat and after lots of suggestions, including McDonalds delivery, we decided to have an Movie afternoon.
The children chose to watch ‘Big foot family’, we had cinema snacks and had a brilliant time! We all agreed, “We should do this more often”. Toffee Bear enjoyed it too.
I am so proud of the children in Y1M, they are the best attending class in school so far, hopefully it wont be long before we can have another special treat!

We took advantage of the beautiful weather on Friday to take part in our wellbeing walk. In Science, we have been learning about the weather so we enjoyed hunting for signs of spring using binoculars. We know how keeping active can help us to feel good inside and out, so we enjoyed walking/running to different spots around our school grounds!
