This week in Nursery we have been reading Handa’s Surprise. We enjoyed tasting some unusual fruits and acting out the story using animal costumes!
Today we held our annual Remembrance Day commemoration. Children across the school have been learning about Remembrance Day and every child made their own poppy. The poppies were displayed around the school. Here are some photos of our beautiful poppies.

This week we have been reading the story Room on the Broom. We have been talking about how we are going to be celebrating Halloween with our families. We really enjoyed carving some pumpkins and used excellent vocabulary to talk about how it felt.
