Year 2 have been learning about plants this half term. We have investigated what conditions they like to grow in and have even been monitoring the growth of our very own sunflowers and white narcissus flowers!

We visited B&Q to learn about different types of plants and to look at their wide range of flowers, trees and shrubs. The children had a great time looking round, making notes and sketching some of their favourite plants (including the Bleeding Heart!). B&Q also very kindly gave us a whole box of different seeds which Year 2 are going to plant for everyone to enjoy as well as the children being given their own plant to take home! Thank you again, B&Q!
