Good morning everyone.
Literacy
Today’s literacy task is to write the opening section of your story – describing the setting. This should be around 2-3 paragraphs of writing, describing the where the story takes place. Using lots of adjectives and similes to describe the sights, sounds and smells to build up the atmosphere of the setting.
Numeracy
For numeracy, the worksheet attached will help you complete work round numbers within 100,000.
Remember if the number is 1, 2, 3 or 4 then you must round down. If it is 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 then you round up.
Accelerated Reading
For the Accelerated Reading, using the books you are able to read at home, don’t forget to search for them on the Accelerated Reading system and complete a quiz, if there is one available. You can only log in via our school portal at:

Use the internet, books, YouTube videos to find your facts.
