Please see below for today’s activities. Remember we will go live on google classroom at 9.15am and 2.50pm where children have a chance to say hello to us and each other, share ideas and listen to a story. We hope to see you then.
Phonics and Reading
Read Write Inc. Phonics will be hosting lessons on the Ruth Miskin YouTube for children to watch at home. Each daily lesson will be shown at 9.30 am and will be available for 24 hours. We will therefore post these links separately shortly after 9.30am.
Today’s sound will be the ‘00’ sound.
Literacy- To order events from a story and to orally retell a story.
Today we would like you to use images from the story to recall key events. Put the pictures in the correct order and orally retell the story in the correct order. Try to use sorry telling language like “Once upon a time”.
