Here are today’s activities. You can complete them in any order throughout the day.
There will be a Google Meet at 8:50am and another at 2:30pm.
Maths:
Watch the video then complete the activity sheet. You’re looking at dividing by partitioning. Think carefully about what the numbers can be partitioned into – can you divide them by the one-digit number? Complete the activity on your worksheet or on a piece of paper and hand it in on Google Classroom.
English:
Your work for today is to finish writing your non-chronological report about the humpback whale. You will need to write:
- Paragraph 2 and a sub-heading
- Fact box
Use of all of your notes from Thursday and Friday to help you.
You must write in the third person, use formal language and include fronted adverbials.
Listen to the videos and use the attachments to help you.

Look at the different Henri Rousseau paintings. Split each painting into 3 sections and label: foreground, midground and background. If you can’t print and draw, you could write about the paintings. For example,
