Phonics

Literacy

For our Literacy activity today, we would like you to read the story ‘Back to Earth with a Bump’ with your grown up. This story can be found in your home learning pack and is labelled with a number 1 or on Google Classroom.

In your pack, you will find some story puppets. With help from an adult, cut out your puppets and use them to retell the story.

Maths

Today we are going to explore making pairs. We would like you to complete the White Rose, Growing 6, 7 and 8, week 2, session 2 Activity. The video and resources can be found at:

Challenge: Can you remember the rhyme to help use write the number 8? Practise writing number 8 on your whiteboard.

Topic

Today we would like you to make your own alien. You could use playdough or draw your alien. Think carefully about what colour your alien will be. How many legs? How many arms? We look forward to seeing your exciting aliens!
