Phonics

Today we would like you to practise the sound ‘ch’. You will find a video on Google Classroom.

Challenge: Can you write some words with the ‘ch’ sound?

Literacy

Literacy today is linked to the story ‘Dragons in the City’. Today we would like you to use the ‘Chinese New Year Writing Activity’ sheet.  Please look at the two pictures and write a simple sentence to match each picture.  Don’t forget to use the key words, at the top of the page, in your sentence.  Always remember to use ‘Sentence Super Heroes’ when writing sentences.

Maths

Today we are going to be measuring height. We would like you to complete the White Rose, Growing 6, 7 and 8, week 3, session 4 activity. The video and resources can be found at:

In your home learning pack you need to find ‘How to make a paper Lantern’

Top Tip – You might want to decorate the lantern before you cut it out.

Follow the instructions and use your fantastic cutting skills to carefully cut along the lines.
