Phonics and Reading
Read Write Inc. Phonics will be hosting lessons on YouTube for children to watch at home. Each daily lesson will be shown at 9.30 am and will be available for 24 hours. We will therefore post these links separately shortly after 9.30am.
Today’s sound will be the ‘ou’ sound.
Literacy – To describe the stepmother
Today we have looked at the African version of Hansel and Gretel, we would like you to write a character description of the stepmother. Think of adjectives to describe her appearance (what she looks like) and her personality (What is she like? Bad or good?)

Religious Education
Jesus loved to tell stories. He taught his disciples (his friends) about a shepherd who had 100 sheep, and one of the flock wondered off by itself. Share the powerpoint.
Draw pictures and write a sentence about the picture you have drawn to retell the Story of the Lost Sheep.
