Good morning everyone!

Google Meets will take place at 8.50am and 2.30pm. Morning meet will be used to discuss the work for the day. We will use our afternoon meet to do our ‘Feel Good Friday’ activity!

The lessons for today are Maths, English, Spellings, Accelerated Reader and Science.

Maths:

Watch the video about dividing a 2 digit number by a 1 digit number. Today you’ll think about grouping and you’ll also be looking at division calculations with remainders. Either complete the worksheet or write your answers on a piece of paper and take a photo – please upload these and hand them in on Google Classroom.

English:

We are going to be doing a reading comprehension today.

Read the report about humpback whales before answering the questions.

You can listen to the audio recording if you need to.

Spelling:

Bubble spelling.

Write each of your spelling words in bubble writing. Make sure you spell them correctly!

Science:

Watch the video about invertebrates. For the main activity, we would like you to find examples of different invertebrates to draw a quick sketch of and make some notes around. Then you’re going to choose one invertebrate to draw a labelled sketch of and then write facts about it.

You can do these activities by looking in the local environment for them (weather and time permitting) or by doing research about them. Please upload your work to Google Classroom.
