Maths
Good Morning Y3 and welcome back to your home learning – We hope you all had a great weekend.
For our maths today we will be adding money.
If you have a piggy bank you could start by totalling how much you have in your piggy bank and making a list of what you are saving for?
Starter: https://natwest.mymoneysense.com/students/students-5-8/coin-cruncher/ Have a go at playing coin cruncher on the NatWest Money Sense Website. Throw in the correct coins to make the amounts shown.

English
Today, we will be identifying themes in mythical literature. Click on the PowerPoint below to hear Miss Samuels explain your task in more detail.
You will be using the table attached on your Google Classroom (Main Activity Sheet) to show how the themes are demonstrated in the story Beowulf. If you do not have access to a printer you can simply draw the table out on a a piece of paper. Your challenge for this task is to use evidence from the text to support your answers. The story of Beowulf is attached below.

Science
This week we are going to be using all the information we have learnt over the past 4 weeks, on animals including humans, to complete today’s lesson. Your task for today is to complete the nutrient diary. You can either complete it for the food you have eaten today or yesterday (Sunday).
You need to draw and write down what you have eaten for your breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as the snacks and drinks you have consumed. After this, write down which food gave you the following types of nutrients. Think back to our lesson on ‘what different nutrients do for us’. Log into your Google Classroom to view your worksheet.
Once your finished this you can test your knowledge of all the things you have learnt in this topic by heading over to the BBC bitesize website and completing the different quizzes.
